Our Aerie runs on the dedication of members who volunteer their time, talents, and energy. Whether you’re interested in helping behind the scenes, serving members directly, or bringing new ideas to life, there’s a place for you on our team.
Volunteer Opportunities
Bar & Food Service
Bar Manager – Oversees the Social Room and Annex bars, ensuring members have a pleasant experience. Requires valid WA MAST card and Food Handler permit.
Bartender – Prepares and serves drinks, verifies IDs, processes payments, and keeps the bar area clean. Requires valid WA MAST card and Food Handler permit.
Server – Takes food and drink orders, interacts with members and guests, and provides excellent service. Requires valid WA MAST card and Food Handler permit.
Cook – Plans and prepares meals for members and events. May include shopping for ingredients. Requires valid WA Food Handler permit.
Kitchen Help – Assists cooks with prep, plating, and cleanup (bus tables, dishwashing). Requires valid WA Food Handler permit.
Operations & Support
General Maintenance – Handles ongoing maintenance tasks. Specialized skills (plumbing, electrical, etc.) are especially welcome.
Member Management System Maintenance – Keeps our membership database up‑to‑date and prints due receipts.
Door Attendant – Greets members and guests, signs them in, collects cover charges, and answers questions.
Events & Community
Special Events – Helps plan, promote, and run special events for members and fundraisers supporting our mission.
